CARNALITY vs. SPIRITUALITY

Paul's letter to Corinth

1Cor 3:1-3

3:1* ¶ And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to
carnal, as to babes in Christ.
 2* I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to
receive it, and even now you are still not able;
 3* for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among
you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?

Being carnal or worldly results to envy, strife and division – these are the works
of the flesh.

Order of our life:
spirit
soul
body

Our life must be guided or led by our spirit not by our soul and body. Our spirit
must be the strongest part of our lives.

Matt 4:4
Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the word of
God.

Once our spirit will be strong, it will govern our circumstances. Your spirit is your
capacity to relate with God, your intuition.

Walk in the Spirit by always receiving the word of God, the Spirit of God. Then

your spirit will dictate your soul and body not your body or soul will dictate your
spirit.

Jesus said, the words that I have spoken, they are spirit and they are life!

Gal 5:25
25* If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Rom 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Galatians 5:16
16* So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful
nature.

Do not think based on your senses. Discouragement, loneliness, lack, poverty
mindedness is an expression of a CARNAL MIND.
A carnal mind is simply governed entirely by senses. Whatever is seen or felt or
whatever the circumstance, that is what is the belief. A SPIRITUAL MIND always
believes and always declares God's word. SPIRITUAL MINDEDNESS is being
led by the Spirit, by the word of God, being spiritually minded.

Let us train ourselves and develop our spirit through the word of God. If we walk
in the spirit, we will enter into the supernatural like Peter. We can walk on water
only when we walk in the spirit and respond to the word of God in our lives. The
moment Peter looked at the circumstances and went back to his carnal mind, he
began to sink! The only way to have a supernatural life is to walk in the Spirit. Let
us become a spiritual leader by letting our spirit govern our life through the word
of God. Allow the word of God to be the final authority of your life! Develop your
inner man, your inner most being and welcome into the world of the supernatural
that God has prepared for you!
