OUR CLOSE FRIENDS AFFECT OUR:
1. MINDSET
   Proverbs 13:20 "Whoever walks with the wise will became wise; whoever walks with the fools will suffer harm."

2. VALUES 

   Proverbs 22:24-25 "Do not make friends with a hot tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared."


3. DESTINY


   Proverbs 24:21-22a "My child, fear the LORD and the King, and don't associate with rebels. For you will go down with them to sudden disaster."


MANY ARE HOOK WITH:
1. IMMORAL RELATIONSHIP
2. PRE-MATURE RELATIONSHIP
   A. UNGODLY FRIENDS
   B. UNGODLY GROUPS
   C. WRONG WORK WITH WRONG WORKMATES
  We need to separate ourselves from wrong influence


WHAT IS A SOUL TIE?
"a soul tie is the knitting together of two souls that can bring tremendous blessings in a Godly relationship or tremendous destruction when made with the wrong persons"


HOW TO BE FREE FROM NEGATIVE SOUL TIES?
1. Decide wrong relationship
2. Renounce soul ties
3. Develop your relationship with God
4. Submit to a spiritual leader
5. Connect to a Godly community
6. Be selective on your best friends
7. Be active in the church
8. Be on the offensive when you are relating to unbelievers.

OVERCOMING FEAR

Genesis 15:1-6  "fear is not just an emotional condition, it is a spirit"

2timothy 1:7a  " for GOD has not given us a spirit of fear"

Fear - to feel a painful apprehension of some impending evil; to feel anxiety on an account of some expected evil. If you  focus on what you fear, it will take root in your heart. It then comes out of your mouth and is empowered by a demonic spirit.

Proverbs 10:24    " the fears of the wicked will all come true; so will the hopes of the righteous"

Job 3:25     "What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come to be"

WHAT ARE YOUR FEARS?

1. phobias

2. fear of sickness/death

3. fear a person

4. fear of losing someone

5. fear of ridicule

6. fear of failure

7. fear of the unknown

8. fear of being known

WHAT ARE THE MANIFESTATIONS OF FEAR?

a. You worry too much

            worry - give way to anxiety or unease; allow one's mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles.

            Fears starts to limit our abilities (Prov. 29:25) "fearing people is a dangerous trap but to trust the Lord means safety"

Matthew 6:31-34  "So don't worry about having enough food to drink or clothing. Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. So don't worry about tomorrow, for  tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today."

       - panic attacks

       - recurrent sickness

       - increase Frequency of disease 

Romans 8:15  "for you have not receive a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received  spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "abba! Father" NLT "so you should bot be like cowering, fearful slaves. You should behave instead like God's very own children, adopted into his family--- calling him "Father, dear Father." 

IF FEAR IS NOT FROM GOD, WHY DO YOU HAVE IT?

KEYS TO OVERCOME FEAR:

    1. cast out fear

    2. faith

    3. receive the love of God

We conquer our fears by the love of Jesus.

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear...."  (1 john 4:18)

"for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but power and love and of sound of mind"  (2timothy 1:7)
